NoSLiP 2021 is funded by the Norwegian Graduate Researcher School in Linguistics and Philology (LingPhil) and organized by PhD fellows at the University of Bergen.

NoSLiP2021, which will be a virtual conference held from 11.-12. March 2021, welcomes all graduate students (MA and Ph.D.) in linguistics and philology, with the only criteria being that the participant has not defended a Ph.D. by the time of the conference. The conference is open to students from both Norway and abroad. We also invite graduate students who are not presenting to attend the conference because it will be a great opportunity for networking and researcher training. MA students are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts. The theme of NoSLiP 2021 is Language variation, with a focus on
Syntax and Morphology. We welcome submissions from all areas of linguistics and philology, including, but not limited to, sociolinguistics, semantics, syntax, phonology, rhetoric, and pragmatics. We hope that the conference will reflect the great variety of graduate research within language studies.
